    Audience
    Pre-K - Grade 1 (Age: 4-7 years)
    Teaching principles
    According to the Faith Development Theory, children between 5 and 8 years grow from the stage of intuitive-projective faith (grasping the belief in powerful images and in stories) to the stage of mythic-literal faith (relating to the belief through endlessly detailed narratives, stories, dramas, and myths). This period marks a very important season where children build their firm foundation toward God. The Lower Elementary Ministry (LEM) teaches the Bible by introducing various bible characters around Jesus Christ while encouraging children and their families with Bible reading challenges, bible verse memorization, and family bible worship times throughout the year in order to help them have a balanced understanding of the Bible. –
